I'm one of first testers of DNA Relatives Beta new functionality.

I have first non-family match, Cary, which I known and for her I made Ancestral Report before, exciting discovery:)

Everyone is getting the same Italian match; usually at 180 or 201 cM. There's definitely an issue there.

If everybody's getting it, indeed there's an issue somewhere.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for pointing this out, I am looking into it now. The matching is working well for “ known “ relatives so there may be something off with this file. I will let you know what we discover.

I also wanted to add, that if you add an email address to your profile then relatives can communicate. It can be any email and doesn’t have to be the one you signed up with. We made every section of the profile fields optional so you can control exactly how much or how little you share.

I admit I have this Italian match too. Some error for sure. But consider it is new stuff and still in test phase.

But besides it I have new normal match (7 cM) from Germany.
