Hi Everyone again,

We have looked into this match that has been a appearing on your accounts. There seems to be something off about the X chromosome in the file (it seems to be producing a higher match number with the X chromosome than with the autosomal chromosome centimorgans, which is odd). We are creating a fix to stop this happening again. This is the only account that is affected by this. We will do some more investigations and work out how this occurred and let you know what we find. The fix hasn’t been added to the live site yet but will happen this evening or tomorrow.

Thanks, Sulis. Aside from this odd X chromosome match, I've matched with 6 others thus far so it's definitely a very good start. :D

Hi,
Well after looking at the mysterious file, there seems to have been no X chromosome data and somehow that created a fault in the calculations, so nothing sinister! After resetting the matches for the file with only the other chromosomes the matches have dropped down to only 3 people, one of whom is I! So now you may notice you are no longer matching.

I opted me and my mom in and it says we have no matches. Does it take a while to show up?

Hi,
We think the glitches are now sorted out and more matches should arrive over the next couple of weeks.
