@Talorgan,
I also have the same result as you. I haven’t tried heroin, but once had to take codeine for an injury and it had very little effect on the pain. Apparently this response to opiates would mean that if you under respond you need to take more. So if you tried heroin, to achieve the same “high” as others you would need more, which in turn would lead to higher addiction rates. I also have red hair which influences response to pain and to pain killers, not so lucky in this area!

I have it too. (Never tried heroin or any hard drug!).
