Since this software was developed using a new approach, your results may differ from those obtained using the widely used ADMIXTURE program (Gedmatch.com) or from commercial ancestry companies. However, SAPDA seeks to address some of the limitations of currently ancestry inference programs.

The slight increase in E Eurasian admixture in the more recent past is unsurprising for Europeans in light of the migrations west by Turkic and Iron Age Steppe peoples.

Thanks Dilawer. Do you have explanations as to why, on GSI, lg16's ancestral West Eurasian is much higher than mine, compared to our deep ancestral results? Why did mine decrease so much? My ancestry is NE French & South Italian.

The more recent past W Eurasian modeling is more NW European heavy. Those populations in general tend to have more WHG than French and Italian populations who tend to on average have more ENF ancestry
